Senior Healthcare & Digital Health Executive with 20 years’ experience in Middle East and Africa in Program management , Sales and Advisory, Remy Levastre is the Advisory Director for Middle East (ex-GE Healthcare Digital Africa GM) He is holding hands-on experience in various Healthcare Fields covering Strategy, Digital transformation, Program management, Strategic partnerships , Customer Experience , IT professional services, Start-up mentoring, Advisory Services.

Remy has served at GE Healthcare in quality of IT professional services Middle East responsible for 100s of Health IT project to the most reputable accounts in the Region, responsible of Execution Centre of excellence and overseeing World class Health IT projects delivery.

Remy is passionate about health innovation, applied research and disruptive digital healthcare solutions and making  an impact on  population health by co-creating transformative sustainable healthcare programs.
He has overseen a number of large programs with prestigious governmental and private clients in the Middle East and Africa.
A change-agent  with an agile and customer centric approach, and direct experience in a multitude of designing and delivery of Healthcare IT solutions (EMR, Radiology IT, Cardiology IT, e-ICU and Tele-ICU, Digital ORs, Command Centers etc.).

Remy is a UC Berkeley Haas School of Business alumni; AI & Digital Transformation, Six Sigma and ITIL certified.

Selected Experience

Stroke Prevention Managed Care at MOH Saudi Arabia: Memorandum of Understanding to build a Pilot at the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health to build a cloud base managed care services in order to prevent Ischemic Stroke by monitoring Atrial Fibrillation (AF) event through a population at risk population using mobile and wearables technology and Artificial intelligence. Mentor and Senior Advisor of a German SME (Preventicus) and a Swiss investor building the project, signing strategic partnerships in Saudi Arabia and MoU design with Saudi MOH and local partners.

MOH Saudi Arabia Tele-ICU and Command Center: Establish a Tele-ICU network at MOH Saudi Arabia from the MOH Virtual Hospital and Command Center Lead business development, Technical design, and program design to establish 1) Multi-party MoUs to prove the concept 2) MOH to open Tender/RFP

Digitalization of the Nelson Children Hospital to paperless workflow, including Radiology, Cardiology, ICU, Anaesthesia and patient data exchange platform through a South Africa and Pan-African network. Pre-Sales, solution design and program management leading international teams.

Qatar Aspetar EMR Implementations Implementation of EMR and all clinical solutions at Aspetar Hospital in Qatar

Hamad Medical Complex – RIS –PACS and Data Migration Implementation of the largest Radiology IT solution in Middle East including a data migration over 2M patients from the legacy system prior Go-live.
