Eng. Sarry AlBuraik is a prominent figure in the healthcare sector. He is a senior executive leader in healthcare administration and financing, with over 30 years of experience. He led the national study on healthcare financing and the implementation of insurance for Saudi Arabia in 2013 and established the Self-Financing Fund Development at King Fahad Medical City – the largest medical city in Saudi Arabia. He also developed the first healthcare Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contract to build a proton therapy center.

    Since 2008, he has served as a Leadership Surveyor and was previously a Board Member. He played a key role in developing and implementing national accreditation policies. He is certified in leadership standards and has been actively involved in hospital quality and compliance assessments.

    He held the role of Executive Director for the Study of Healthcare Finance and Insurance, overseeing all activities and resources to ensure the successful completion of the feasibility study in Saudi Arabia.

    He served as President and CEO, overseeing all aspects of hospital operations, strategic planning, and financial performance. He led expansion and modernization efforts aimed at enhancing service quality and patient outcomes.

    Worked as a Research Assistant and contributed to the development of Johns Hopkins Managed Care by supporting key initiatives and assisting in strategic planning efforts.

    Prince Sultan Military Medical City:                                                                                                                                                           1988 – 1992

    Established the first Management Engineering Department within the Saudi healthcare system and laid the foundation for Total Quality Management (TQM) and performance improvement initiatives.
