Champion and successfully deploy strategic initiatives such as Malaysia international fertility referral centers in China, Malaysia as Asia\u2019s hub for Hepatitis-C treatment, international-level installation of insight; a highly anticipated yearly global medical tourism conference assembling professionals, partners and players in medical tourism, healthcare and non-healthcare sectors.<\/p>

Chief Strategy Officer, UMW Technology:<\/b>
Drive and implement the diversification strategy of the UMW Group\u2019s business direction with technology as the new vertical. Executed UMW\u2019s technology investment fund of more than USD50 Mn n the North America. Successfully negotiate and, conclude UMW\u2019s maiden investment in its first tech company\u2013a New York- based leading tech & media co-working company, Spark Labs which hosts start-ups and growth tech companies. Steer the co-working space occupancy rate with the US counterpart to achieve 100% from Year 1 target of 74% \u2013 leading towards revenue improvement even in Year 1. Successfully establish UMW\u2019s first ever US-based entity, UTech Americas Inc. \u2013 a long-term investment vehicle targeting high growth tech companies in the North America.<\/p>

Lead the business transformation around IPTV\/media and advertising business for Telekom Malaysia\u2019s new media vertical encompassing offering of the business of IPTV, Online Services and Advertising. Streamline the media business (IPTV and advertising revenue based), resulting close to 3x in revenue from USD30Mn in Y2012 to USD85Mn in Y2015.Key founding member of BlueHyppo.com portal that morphed into today\u2019s \u201cUnifi Home Broadband\u201d by Telekom Malaysia. Among key highlights were securing partnerships with more than 50 key content and media partners across the region and the globe \u2013the very credential that supported Telekom Malaysia in winning its 3G license (mobile arm) from the Malaysian regulator.<\/p>
